In 1987 Hayward Long opened the front doors to Simply Wood Furnishings for the first time. Boy, were we small. One self-taught furniture-maker with a few tools, a good idea, and an honest approach to doing business, I guess it just goes to show that hard work and old-fashioned service do pay off. Here we are, not too many years later, offering Ottawa’s largest selection of unpainted furniture.
